Planning a stay in one of our Lanzarote villas this autumn? Then you can now get your hands on a copy of the new edition of Lanzarote Guidebook, the in-depth island guide, entirely free of charge.
Lanzarote Guidebook is made available to tourists on the island via Lanzarote car hire companies, hotels and private villas. And is published in a portable pocket sized A6 format – which makes it easy to carry when out touring the island.
The guide has in fact been created with this in mind – and is designed to encourage visitors to get away from the pool or the beach to explore the many attractions that Lanzarote has to offer. Such as the Jameos del Agua, Mirador del Rio, Green Caves and Museum of International and Contemporary Art. As well as natural beauty spots such as the Green Lagoon and Los Hervidores.
Just like a conventional guidebook it contains information about all of Lanzarote’s resorts, towns and places. Along with maps and recommendations about where to go, what to see and where to eat. But unlike these other guides Lanzarote Guidebook is published quarterly. So the information it contains is always accurate and up to date.
The new autumn edition contains coverage of upcoming events on the island over the coming months. Such as the Costa Music Festival in September and the WQS La Santa Surf Pro, which will be taking place on Lanzarote from November 1st to 8th. And is well worth a visit if you are here on the island at that time.
Along with an introduction to the work of Cesar Manrique, a guide to Lanzarote´s best beaches, information about museums, excursions and days out and a handy Essentials section that covers off all of the holiday basics. Such as bank opening times and emergency telephone numbers.
The 96 page autumn edition is illustrated with some fantastic shots of the island and can be downloaded fast and for free from the Lanzarote Guidebook website. Where visitors can also stay abreast of all of the latest island news and events and read in depth articles about all aspects of travel and tourism on Lanzarote. Plus interactive maps and a free tourist advice line.
