Anyone planning a holiday in one of our villas in Lanzarote this winter can get their hands on a comprehensive guidebook to the island – entirely free of charge. As the Winter edition of the in depth island information guide Lanzarote Guidebook is out now. And you can download a copy for free at the Lanzarote Guidebook website.
Lanzarote Guidebook first launched a couple of years ago and is designed to provide visitors with all of the information they could need to enjoy their holiday on the island. With 96 pages covering all of the main resorts and towns and places. As well as all of the key attractions such as the Timanfaya National Park and the Jameos del Agua. Along with information about museums, theme parks and excursions too.
Lanzarote Guidebook has been researched and written by long term island residents so it features plenty of insider tips and the information is always accurate and up date. Unlike many conventional guidebooks which are often obsolete by the time they reach the bookshelves.
The Winter 09/10 edition of Lanzarote Guidebook contains information about upcoming events on the island. Such as the Canarian Music Festival which starts in January with concerts in the atmospheric surroundings of the Green Caves. As well as Carnaval – the islands biggest party of the year – which is taking place in February. Plus an introduction to the works of the famous local artist and architect César Manrique – who did so much to shape tourist development on the island during the 1970´s.
Lanzarote Guidebook contains a useful Essentials section too. Which provides handy information about all of the nitty gritty details – such as such as bank opening times, driving on the island, car hire information, duty free allowances, shop opening hours and a list of emergency contact numbers.
Lanzarote Guidebook is available in a pocket size and portable A6 format and is distributed free to tourists on the island via tourist information offices, car hire companies, hotels and private villas.
Visitors to the Lanzarote Guidebook website will also find even more in-depth and detailed information about the island online. Where they can catch up on island news, check live weather reports and use in-depth climate information to work out when best to visit. The site even features a Tourist Advice Line, which allows visitors to ask specific questions direct – along with interactive island maps.
